We came, we saw, and we conquered.
This was the first road trip for the U12 team and indeed the first road trip in the entire AKS Select Basketball program’s history.
We were invited to Beijing International Team to play in a weekend tournament featuring Beijing’s top international school teams. We flew home to Shanghai Sunday night with the championship trophy.
However, we also managed to arrange a friendly match with the Beijing local athletic school champion Dongsi 14 school. We lost by two. This fuels our fire and keeps us humble. We earned the respect of Dongsi’s coach who agreed to a rematch next season.
